HELEN M. O' HARA Helen M. O' Hara, 92, of Sebring, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008, in Sebring. She was born March 24, 1916, to Orbrie and Gayetta (Reeb) Babcoke in Antwerp, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1976, coming from Hobart, Ind. She was a Baby Food Counselor for H.J. Heinz Baby Food Manufacturing and had also worked for General Electric and Gordon' s Department Store. She was previously active in the Methodist Church in Hammond, Ind., was a member of the Women' s Auxiliary at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind. and was an inactive member of Sigma Alpha Sorority. Mrs. O' Hara is survived by her son, Ret. M/Sgt. David (and Kimberly) Evans, Sebring; step-daughter, Rebecca Smith, Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Mildred Wagner, Sebring; Mary Mace, Joyce Shuler and Connie Hosford, all of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; step-grandchild, Curtis (and Melissa) Gray, Sebring, and step-great-grandchild, Electra Gray, Sebring. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David M. Evans in 1982; and second husband, Paul V. O' Hare in 2006. The family wishes to thank Good Shepherd Hospice Violet Team for their excellent and professional care during this time.
