Helen E. Ferraro 1926-2012 LONGMEADOW - Helen Edith (Bullock) Ferraro, age 86, died December 4, 2012 at her residence. She was pre deceased by her first husband of 42 years, Francis A. Ferraro, Sr. in 1988; her second husband of 7 years, Frank H. Sherman in 2005. Helen is survived by 3 sons, John R. Ferraro and his wife Susan, of Bailey Island, ME, Francis A. Ferraro, Jr. and his wife Gloria, of Norfolk, VA, James G. Ferraro and his wife Margaret, of Lewisberry, PA; 3 daughters, Angela M. Skiba of Agawam, Catherine A. Glazier of Longmeadow, Mary E. Lempke and her husband Todd, of Southampton; 2 sisters, June Crosby and Phyllis R. Chandler both of Colebrook, NH; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was born in West Springfield, a daughter of the late Almond E. and Freda E. (Lamothe) Bullock. Helen's greatest joy was her family and in her devotion, was the caregiver for many. Before Helen left the working world to care for family, she had worked for Gemini Corp. in Springfield and the Milton Bradley Corp., previously. Calling hours will be held at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, (413) 786-2600, 985 Main St., Agawam on Friday, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Saturday 7:45AM from the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield.
