HARRY WAYNE ABBOTT PORTAGE, IN Harry Wayne Abbott, age 67 of Portage, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from Bosak Motors as a car salesman. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel; father, Howard; sister, Judy; and brother, Butch Abbott, Jr. He is survived by his wife: Terri; children: Tim (Lisa) Abbott, Tammy (Kirk) Ward, Michelle Abbott, Bridget (Alejandro) Irizarry and Alex Abbott; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters: Sue (Ed) Green and Carol Smith; half-sister, Hope Parker; and forever friends: Bob Taggart and Kenny Shanks. Funeral services on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart with Rev. Sam Abbott officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
