FRANCIS , Harry C. It is with deep sadness that the family of Harry C. Francis announce his passing on December 22, 2009 with his wife and children at his bedside. Harry was the loved and loving husband of Mary Power, father of Donna-Marie Francis and Christopher (Delia Nunes) and adoring grandfather (Poppa) of Emily and Olivia Francis. Harry leaves relatives and friends in Quebec and Ontario; his sisters Stella Anderson, Joyce Norwell, June (Charles) Jardine, brother Ralph (Gail Godkin) and brothers-in-law Finlay McCheyne, John Power and Frank Power. Harry was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elsie Francis, brother Burns, sisters Kathleen Coughtry and Marion McCheyne. Harry was a family man who lived his life in quiet dignity. It was his request there be no Visitation. A Funeral Service was held on December 24, 2009 at Leyden's Funeral Home. Should anyone wish to honor Harry's memory, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
