DUCHARME, Harold Eugene 87 years, peacefully, on August 27, 2003 at the W.R.H.C. Metropolitan Campus. Late of Windsor. Husband of the late Anna (2003) and Velma (Pike, 1981). Loving father of Brian and wife Judy, of Tecumseh; Mark and wife Carol, of Amherstburg. Dear Pepe of Valerie and Bobby. Eldest son of the late Herby and Lottie (Lachance). Dear brother of Ubald "Slim" and Theresa; Bernard (the late Phyllis); sister-in-law Georgette; Marie and husband Bob; Edwin and wife Lorraine; Charlotte (and the late Tom); Sam and Pauline; and the late Reginald, Valentine and Theresa. Harold was a longtime employee of Chrysler Power House. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge #1499 (Windsor) and enjoyed fishing and singing. Visiting on Thursday 7-9p.m. and Friday 2-5 and 7-9p.m. Prayers will be on Friday at 7:00p.m. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 9:45a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) to the St. William Church (Emeryville) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30a.m. Fr. James Chaseley will be the celebrant and music by Jules Gouin. Interment in the church cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Harold Ducharme in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
