-> Vidalia - Mrs. Gladys Hall Chapman, 90, a resident of the Bethany Nursing Center, of Vidalia died Sunday, January 8, 2006 after an extended illness. She was a native of Emanuel County, moving to Vidalia in 1981 and was a retired caretaker of the Button Gwinnett House on Saint Catherines Island. Mrs. Chapman is survived by three sons and daughters -in-law, George and Sarah Chapman of Vidalia, Ben and Louise Chapman and Ralph and Virginia Chapman both of Richmond Hill; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren as well as several step grandchildren, step great -grandchildren, several step great -great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and also following the service on Wednesday at Corinth Baptist Church, Highway 144 East, Richmond Hill, GA. Graveside funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2005 at Burnt Church Cemetery near Richmond Hill, GA., with Reverend Ed Cadle officiating.
