OSTIGUY, Georges Lucien Retired Public Servant, widower (Germaine, nee Carreau), father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peaceably in his 96th year on March 3, 2003. Ne a Marieville, Quebec, de la septieme generation d'Ostiguy dit Domingue, il a poursuivi sa carriere en genie mecanique dans l'industrie privee et pour le gouvernement du Canada. Moving to Westboro from Montreal in 1948, the parish and schools of Sainte Jeanne d'Arc, the Rivermead Golf Club, family, friends and neighbours, including those at Central Park Lodge, all had a place in his heart. To celebrate his life, Georges, Raymond and Elisabeth, his children, and their extended families will hold an informal reception in his honour in the Lady Elgin Room, Lord Elgin Hotel, 100 Elgin Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, April 12, 2003 between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. The presence or sentiments of friends and the sharing of memories on this occasion are requested in lieu of other forms of recognition.
