ANDREWS _ George Thomas "Andy", born at Sapperton, B.C., died at New Westminster, B.C. on Saturday, April 1, 2006, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Betty and his parents, George Sr. and Ada Andrews; his sisters-in-law, Phyl and Phyllis and his brother-in-law George. He is survived by his sons, Alan and his wife Cheryl and their family and Larry and his wife Ruth and their family; his brothers, John (Ann), Ed (Dona), Art (Carol), Bill, Ken (Connie) and his sisters, Ellen, Ada and Betty (Denny); his aunt Emily Crawford; his nieces, nephews and many dear friends, especially Ruby McLeod and Joan Young. George's family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pfeffercorn and the wonderful staff of 5-South at Royal Columbian, for the excellent care he received while there. At George's request, no formal service is planned, but his family will host an informal gathering of family and friends at 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 8, at the home of his sister Betty, at 27397 - 32 Ave. in Aldergrove. For those desiring, donations made in George's memory to your favourite charity would be most appreciated.
