George Robert Parks <br/> <br/> SPARTANBURG, SC --> George Robert Parks SPARTANBURG, SC-- George Robert Parks, 64, was born June 22, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC to Mrs. Floree Ollie Parks and the late Samuel Parks. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. Left to cherish fond memories are: his mother, Mrs. Floree Olley Parks of Spartanburg, SC; his two daughters, Sonya Parks and April Parks of Anderson, SC; his son, Victor (Benita) Parks of Atlanta, GA.; his three sisters, Evelyn Parks, Barbara (Alvin) Fuller and Sandra Meridith all of Spartanburg, SC; his four brothers, Samuel (Maxine) Parks, Jr. of Maryland, Johnny (Sharon) Parks, Jerry Parks and Danny Farr all of Spartanburg; a special friend, Renee Holbert; eight grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of George Robert Parks will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Reverend Marvin Miller will officiate.
