PATERSON _ George Gordon (Pat) October 11, 1940 - January 5, 2005 Following a Christmas surrounded by his family and secure in their love, Pat passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Hospice in Calgary. Devoted husband of thirty-six years of Ginny, and caring father of Scott (Tamara), James (Nella), John, Linda and David. Adoring Grandpa of Adeline, Katie, Jack, Emily, Tessa and Natalia. Dear son of June and the late G. Gordon Paterson; brother of John (Janice) and Barbara (Simon Smith). He will be fondly remembered by Ginny's mother, her brothers and sisters; as well as Pat's aunt Gee; his nieces, nephews and cousins. The family expresses gratitude for the diligent and compassionate care of Dr. Hao, the staff at Tom Baker, the Foothills Hospital, and the team of Home Care professionals. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat's name may go to Hospice Calgary, No. 900, 833 - 4 Avenue S.W., Calgary, T2P 3T5. A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services at 240 - 17 Avenue S.W. on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.
