He was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Cobb and Kate Allen Cobb Gregory. Mr. Cobb was a member of Life Point Church in Smyrna, and a graduate of University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Mr. Cobb was a veteran of United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict and retired Accountant with Bunge Oils.Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife of 50 years, Caren Cobb; sons, Charles Cobb and wife Rhonda of Murfreesboro, Andy Cobb and wife Amy of Illinois; daughter, Debbie Parker and husband David of Murfreesboro; sister, Betty Jo Rogers of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Adam, Kristen, Jacob, Charlie, Samuel, Noah, Jessica, Morgan; great-grandchildren, Emily, John, Bryson.Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mapleview Cemetery, with Military Honors.
