Gertrude K. Farrell, 91 and a 63-year resident of Scarsdale, passed away on November 16, 2005. A longtime parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, she taught Kindergarten there from 1957 to 1965, and also taught in the NYC school system from 1965-1973. She graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1935. She is the widow of Walter S. Farrell, and is survived by Michael W. of Mount Vernon, Peter J. of Danbury, CT, Mary Kate Hacker of New Rochelle, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Saturday, November 19, at IHM Church, Scarsdale, NY.
