ALLEN, FREEDLAND GORDON, 64, of Silver Springs, FL, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at his residence in Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Meridth Allen. He is survived by his two sons, John F. Allen (Traci) and Bobby Allen; and three grandchildren, J.D. Allen, Justina Allen and Roosevelt Allen. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at The Chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and from 1-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
