ObituaryFrederick Charles Thomas age 72, of Fort Myers Beach, died Sunday, October 3, 2004. Mr. Thomas was born in Mason City, Iowa to Brice and Jane (Duffield) Thomas. He moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1995 from Holland, MI. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa. Mr. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion of Fort Myers Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Betty (Bartels) Thomas of Fort Myers Beach, FL; sons, Kevin (Linda) Thomas of Franklin, MI, and Mark (Maureen) Otting of Plainwell, MI; daughters, Kathy (Thomas) Mark White of Richfield, OH, Deborah (Todd) Wolters of Holland, MI; brother, Bide (Mary Nell) Thomas of Ft. Collins, CO; 6 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will held on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Community Congregational United Church of Christ, 15300 No. Tamiami Tr., Naples, FL.
