Frederick C. Donald, 65 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Marlborough, Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Margaret (Reid) Donald. He spent the majority of his career as a travel agent, most recently employed by Fresh Pond Travel in Marlborough. He was also a driver for Veteran's Taxi of Waltham. Mr. Donald served the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam Era. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons. He leaves behind his beloved pets Chelsea and Squirt, both Yorkshire Terriers. Fred had an unsurpassed commitment in providing his clients with the best possible service. He was a witty and caring man. A private graveside service was held in early February at Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham under the arrangement of the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Marlborough. A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Recreation Hall at Jo-Len Mobile Home Park in Marlborough, from 2-4 p.m. All friends and acquaintances are welcome.
