Avis de décès de Frank Wheeler


HOLLY HILL - Frank C. Wheeler, 88, of Flagler Lane, a pharmaceutical chemist and director of quality control for Eli Lilly and Company before his retirement in 1979, died Friday at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial. A native of Millinocket, Maine, Mr. Wheeler moved here from Indianapolis in 1979. He earned his bachelor's and masTer's degrees in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry from Purdue Univeristy. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the American Chemical Society, the American Pharmaceutical Association, the American Association for the Advance of Science, the New York Academy of Sciences, Parenteral Drug Association, Sigma Xi and Kappa Psi. Mr. Wheeler enjoyed playing bridge, travel and gourmet cooking. Survivors include two daughters, Mimi Monsour, Ormond Beach, and Katie Walker, Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
