Funeral for Frank Audie Reid, 83, of Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Decatur, will be Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at 11 a.m., at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Reid died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 12, 1921, in Morgan County to Henry Reid and Dessie Culwell Reid. He was a veteran of World War II, and a retired pipe fitter. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lillian Inez Freeman Reid; three sons, Robert C. Reid and wife Judy, of Portage, Ind., Richard D. Reid of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Jim R. Reid and wife Bobbie, of Cleveland, Tenn.; one daughter, Sharon Reid Langford and husband Tom, of Moore, Okla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Lamar Millwood and wife Faye, and Russell Millwood and wife Betty, all of Decatur. Pallbearers will be Bradley Freeman, Ricky Millwood, Ashley Freeman, John Millwood, Thomas Freeman, and William Freeman.
