Francis Eugene "Jack" Reid 1937-2013 Jack Reid ,75, of North Bay Ontario and formerly of Hopewell Cape passed away on January 25th, 2013 in North Bay. Jack was the son of the late William "Bill" and Thelma (Langill) Reid. Jack was retired from the Airforce with 34 years of service as a Warren Officer. He loved his family very much and enjoyed his grandchildren. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially for Sassy his dog. His sister will definately miss the weekly talks on the phone. He will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Glen Reid and Darren Reid and daughter, Tracey Remillard (Fred); his precious grandchildren, Riley, Brenna and Haley all of North Bay, ON; brothers, Keith (Faye), Harold (Donna) both of Kitchener, ON, Jim (Barb) of Hopewell Cape; sister, Annabelle Reid-Trites (LLoyd) of Riverview; sister-in-law Betty of Kitchener, ON. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many good friends and especially by his good companion, Sassy. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine (Arsenault) and brother, Emery. He is resting at the Martyn Funeral Home in North Bay Ontario. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at 2:00pm.
