FRANCIS E. LAWRENCE 81, passed away July 28, 2003 peacefully at his home. He was a combat veteran officer during W.W.II. He was a retired printing executive from New York. He was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Star of the Sea Church in New Jersey, and St. Matthews Church locally. He was predeceased by his son, Michael James Lawrence, a Vietnam Veteran in 1969; sister, Celeste Frieday; and brother, William Lawrence. He and Claire, his lovely wife of 58 years, moved to Lake Worth several years ago. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sons: Francis E. Lawrence, Jr. of Highlands, New Jersey, John Robert (Regina) Lawrence of Germany, and Richard Raymond (Angela) Lawrence of Weston, Florida; and daughter, Deborah Anne Lawrence of Lake Worth. He also leaves his brothers: A. Vincent Lawrence of Tequesta, Florida and Red Bank, New Jersey, and Gerald Lawrence of Red Bank, New Jersey: his sister, Mimi Lawrence Zanere of Oakhurst, New Jersey; and two grandchildren: John Robert Lawrence, Jr. and Caroline Lawrence of Germany. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday (TODAY), July 30, 2003 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dorsey Funeral Home, 3525 S. Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mathews Catholic Church on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
