NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Francis E. Doran, 73, died Jan. 23, 2011, at Bert Fish Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born in Lincoln, N.H., July 7, 1937, to the late Thomas P. Doran and wife Margaret M. (Strickland) Doran. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955 and from the University of New Hampshire in 1968. He served with the U.S. Air Force Military Police. He retired from Bull Information Systems in 1999, where he was director of computer marketing. He moved to New Smyrna Beach nine years ago from Derry, N.H. He was a devoted family man who loved spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee with his family and winters golfing with his friends in Florida. He lived life to the fullest and shared that joy with all whom he met. IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his wife of 53 years, Joanne (Jock) Doran; three daughters, Darlene D. Cataldo and her husband, Frank, of Newburyport, Mass., Jolene D. Broderick and her husband, Glenn, of Gilford, N.H., and Lynne D. Cote and her husband, Philip, of Newburyport, Mass.; a niece, Michelle Dunklee Stickney, and her husband, Kevin, of Stratham, N.H.; six grandchildren, Joshua Long, Ally and Olivia Broderick, Matthew and Margaret Cote, and Jaida Stickney; a sister, Betty Webster and her husband, David, of Lincoln, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Caroline Doran of Kittery, Maine; three nephews, David Webster Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Campton, N.H.; Thomas Doran of Lincoln, N.H., and Michael Doran of Portsmouth, N.H., along with many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Doran Jr. SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Remick &amp; Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road in Hampton, N.H. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, N.H. Burial will be in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln, N.H.
