FLORENCE WINIFRED WALKER, 83 Publix LAKELAND - Florence Winifred Walker, 83, died of congestive heart failure Thursday (Jan. 25, 2007). She was born in Peterborough, England on May 17, 1923. She was a retired Publix associate. She was a member of Abundant Life Church of God. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Leon H. Walker, and daughter, Linda Bonds. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara McCoy, Geraldine W. Lane/Talbert, Margaret Hallman, Sandra Lane/Rumore, all of Lakeland; sons, Warren Lane, Lithia, Chester R. Lane, Lakeland, Frederick Lane, Sarasota, David Lane, Fairfield, CA.; stepsons, Jackie Walker, Lakeland, Tommy Walker, Mayo; stepdaughter, Linda Hamlin, Mayo; friend, Eliza Cobb, Lakeland; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday at Lanier Funeral Home chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lanier Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.
