SKOWHEGAN -- Francis Neal Norman, 79, died Sept. 1, 2012, at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn, where he had been a resident for two days.He was born on Nov. 4, 1932, in Waterville, the son of Albert Lewis And Thelma Daisy (Foss) Norman.He attended Somerset Academy in Athens, graduating in 1949. He was a veteran, serving in the Army from 1953 to 1955, and earned an honorable discharge with the rank of corporal. On Nov. 10, 1990, he married Theressa C. Lagasse. Francis worked for many years at People's Garage as an accountant.Francis was involved in a number of civic and community organizations and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Joseph R. Sanford Post 3198, American Legion Post 16, Skowhegan / Madison Elks and Somerset Academy. Over the years he had many hobbies and interests, including playing bingo, and managed the VFW bingo games for 55 years. He worked at the American Legion Post 16 bingo for many years, played cribbage and loved spending time with friends and family.He is survived by his wife, Theressa C. (Lagasse) Norman, of Skowhegan; five stepsons, Larry Bonneau and partner Chet Allen, of Las Vegas, Nev., Ricky Bonneau and wife Lorelee, of Charlotte, N. C., Virgil "Pete" Bonneau Jr. and partner, Joseph Brunet, of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph Bonneau of Sandown, N. H., and Michael Bonneau and wife Joelene, of Skowhegan; six brothers, Herbert Norman, of Skowhegan, Joseph Norman and wife Christene, of Bradley, Arthur Norman and wife Thelma, of North Anson, Paul Trepanier of Portland, Conn., Oliver Trepanier and wife Georgia, of Brainbridge, Ga., and Leo Trepanier and wife Susan, of Camden, N. C.; and a sister, Rebecca Prestridge and husband Roger, of Lewiston.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, with the Rev.
