RENAUD, Eva "Eve" ElizabethMarch 22, 1918 – February 16, 2015Eve Elizabeth Renaud (nee Alexander) beloved wife of the late Raoul Joseph Renaud, passed away in Calgary on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Born on March 22, 1918 in Lee Valley, Ontario, the youngest of five children, both her parents passed away before her 8th birthday, she was raised by her aunt and uncle on their farm. She left when she was 18 eventually settling in Windsor, ON and worked there until meeting the love of her life, Raoul whom she marries in 1946. They had two children together, Donna and Ron, her husband died suddenly at the age of 49 years, and she raised and provided for the children until they left Windsor for their respective careers. Eve moved to Calgary in 1988 to be close to her family and grandchildren. Fiercely independent, she had a strong personality, a wicked sense of humour and will be missed by all who knew her. She loved her family dearly. She is survived by her son Ron and his wife Rita and their four children, Eve , Marie, Michelle and Akasha; daughter Donna and her husband Mike and their children, Michael and Walker; great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Emily, Ruby and Quoyah. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 - 14th Street S.W.) on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
