ZIMMERMAN, Eugene Alvin Gene Zimmerman of Camrose passed away May 28, 2012 at Louise Jensen Care Centre in Camrose at the age of 84.He leaves wonderful memories to his wife Leonie, sons Terry (Beth), Lonnie (Angela), daughter Linda (Bob); stepchildren Angela (Andy), Linda (Bob), Robert (Denise), Melanie (Dallas), and Anthony (Sylvia). He loved all his grandchildren; Paul, Jeremey, Angela, Trevor, Lee-Ann, Joshua, Tristina, Misty, Dianna, Lonnie, Corey, Kalley, Paige, Devon, Logan, Brittany, Sara, Ryan, Tessa and Jordan and his ten great grandchildren. Gene is survived by brothers Harold, Robert, Allan and sister Melba. A Memorial Service will held 10:00 a.m. Friday June 1, 2012 at Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue, Camrose, followed by a luncheon.Memorial donations to the Louise Jensen Care Centre are gratefully appreciated.We wish to say a big Thank-You to all (and we mean All!) the staff at the Lilac Cottage. You made Gene's stay comfortable which made it bearable for us. He could not have had better care!Thank You to Dr. Peters, Janet Klontz, Diana Wilcox and Pastor David Ericksen and the Burgar Funeral Home.Gene is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
