->PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. -- Esther M. Poulin passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at her home.Mrs. Poulin was born March 18, 1939, in Waterville, Maine, a daughter of the late Arthur Pellerin and Juliette St. Amand Pellerin. Known by her family and friends as "Tess," she was a devoted wife and loving mother and will be dearly missed by her family.Mrs. Poulin attended St. John the Baptist parochial school and was a graduate of Mount Merici Academy in Waterville.Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Poulin; three sons, Michael G. Poulin of Murrells Inlet and his wife, Melissa, Mark R. Poulin and Stephen J. Poulin and his wife, Robin, both of Pawleys Island; three grandchildren, Aimee, Karlee and Benjamin; sisters, Evangeline Bourassa and Ann Michaud of Winslow, Maine; and brothers, Arthur Pellerin, Paul Pellerin, and Robert Pellerin, also of Winslow, and Frederick Pellerin of Wales.A memorial Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 47 Monument St., Winslow.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center, Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710, or to a charity of one's choice.Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville, is in charge of arrangements.
