November 23, 2005 Erwin A. "Harry" White, 72, of Syracuse, passed away at his home on Wednesday. He was a resident of Syracuse, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Korean War, and served on the USS Worcester Cl-144, gunner's mate 3rd class. Mr. White was the former owner and operator of White's Rotary Service in Waterloo for 15 years. He retired from the Syracuse City School District after 20 years of service in the transportation department. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1468. He was predeceased by his son, the joy of his life, James M. White, in 1973; his brother, Lyle White; stepbrother, Robert White; sister, Charlotte (DeSantis) Tobin; and stepsister, Florence MacAleer. Survivors: his beloved companion, Hope A. Cappa; daughter, attorney Gail (John) Piccolomini of Methuen, MA; sisters, Lucille Sponable of Martville, Dorothy Haney of Phoenix and Sue Bonaccio of Syracuse; stepsister, Edna Champan of Manlius; brothers, Gordon White of Genoa, NY, and Gerald White of Baldwinsville; stepbrother, Leonard White of Scallotte, NC; grandchildren, Theresa DeRepentigny, Albert and Max Piccolomini; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sophie and Ava; and many nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: 2 to 6 p.m. today at FARONE & SON. Services will be held at 6 p.m. Calling Hour: Noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia St., Waterloo, NY.
