AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Ernest Timothy Reid of Porter Street entered into rest Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Victor Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Second Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Appling, Ga. Mr. Reid was a native of Richmond County. He was a caddie at the Augusta National Golf Course and the PGA Tour. Survivors are his mother, Bertha Reid, Augusta; three brothers, Eddie B. Reid, Clinton L. Reid, Augusta and Nathaniel D. Reid, Tampa, Fla.; sister, Christine (Bobby) Cole, Augusta; two uncles, James (Willye) Dent, Tampa, Fla. and James Reid, Augusta; four aunts, Azaree Gunby, Mamie Lathan, Mary (Charlie) Barrows, Josephine Dent, and one godchild, Maurice Frazier, Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
