Ernest F. Reid -->Ernest F. Reid of East Bridgewater died peacefully November 3, 2014, at the age of 92. Ernest was the loving son of the late Claire (Fulton) and Rupert Reid and was born in Worcester. Mr. Reid was a skilled self employed carpenter. He was a World War II Army veteran, a former member of the CCC, an avid go cart racer and enjoyed camping. Ernest was the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Grace M. (Coy) Reid of East Bridgewater; loving father of Grace White of W.Va., Ernestine Jackson of Texas, Ernie Reid of R.I., Mary LaTremouille of Attleboro, Bonnie Duffy of North Dighton, Annette Sniger of Raynham, David Reid of Kan., and the late Winfred; proud grandfather of 22; and great-grandfather of 12; loving brother of the late Lloyd Reid, Rupert Reid, Donald Reid and Clair Raymond. A funeral home service was held Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m. in the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater.
