Emma L. Willis, age 91, formerly of 320 Railroad Ave., and widow of Charlie Willis, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, in Providence Hospital. She was born in Kings Mountain and was the daughter of the Reverend and Callie Lowery. She was retired from J.P. Stevens, Whitmire Plant. She is survived by her daughter, Jean McKinney of Columbia; stepdaughters-in-law, Emma Willis of Iva and Edna Willis of Greer; stepgranddaughter, Joyce Wood of Greer; nieces, Elsie Stephens of Columbia and Margie Franklin of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and nephews, Donald Prather of Greer and Thomas Prather of Clinton. Graveside services will be held today, Dec. 31, 2004, at 3 p.m. in the Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
