Elizabeth Harperof Boca Raton, Fla.Elizabeth (Betty) Harper, 83, born in Taylor, Pa., May 19, 1920, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 in Boca Raton, Fla. She was predeceased by her parents, Levi and Barbara Powell; and brothers, John Powell and David Powell of Taylor, Pa. She is survived by her daughter, Phala Harper; grandson, Roy Balchius and his wife Sandi, all of Boca Raton; daughter, Leslie Jenks and her husband Rick; granddaughter, Rachael Smith and her husband Jason; grandsons, Jordan Jenks, Joshua Jenks and his fiancée Faith Conover, all of Port Crane. Her sister, Barbara Poliak of Endwell and special cousins, Margaret Roberts, Sharon Roberts, Bernie Roberts, and Lynne and Ed Dzupinka also survive her. Mom, Nana Banana, Grandma Rascal, passed on, as she lived, with love, style and dignity. She will be missed immeasurably by her family and community.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Barber Memorial Home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Elizabeth's name to the Hospice and Homecare By The Sea, 1531 W.
