PAINTER Elizabeth Allene Painter, 79, passed away April 17, 2006 at a local hospital. A true child of God, Elizabeth spent her whole life serving the Lord and others. A graduate of the University of Wichita, she worked as a children's director at both the Florida Baptist Convention and the Women's Missionary Union. Elizabeth loved to cook, taking her famous brownies anywhere she went; as well as clowning as "Sun Flower". She was a lifetime and faithful member of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church Elizabeth is survived by her brother C.O. Painter; 15 nieces and nephews and a caring friend Ann Carter. The Homegoing Celebration will take place in Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Brett Foster officiating. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home 1 hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Elizabeth's name to Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.
