Avis de décès de Eliza-P. Copp

Eliza P. Galloway, 90, of Royal Court, Riverview and formerly of Alexander Ave., Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Kiah and Della (Nowlan) Copp and lived her early life in and around Newcastle. Eliza will be remembered as a quiet, gentle woman, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was keenly interested in genealogy and compiled a history of her branch of the Copp family. She was a graduate of Mount Allison University, member of Mount Royal United Church and was a member of its UCW. Eliza will be missed by her husband of 56 years, T.A. (Scotty) Galloway; her son, Steven (Pam), Bedford, NS; her daughter, Cheryl Murray (David), Campbellton; her two granddaughters, Lindsey and Leah Murray. In addition to her parents, predeceased by an infant brother, George. No visitation by personal request. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday, October 5, 2008, 2pm, Rev. Brett Anningson officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Miramichi Cemetery, Miramichi. In Eliza's memory, donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Lupus Canada or memorial of choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at Royal Court and the doctors and nurses on 3C at the Dumont Hospital for the care and kindness they showed Eliza.
