Mrs. Elaine Warren Johnson, age 84, of Killen, Ala., passed away at her residence Thursday, March 3, 2005, after an extended illness.She was born in Rogersville, Ala., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Fairground Senior Quilting Club for 18 years, Eastern Star, Killen, Ala. She was also a longtime member of Harrison Chapel United Methodist Church since 1952 and also attended Northwood Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband, G.W. Johnson, of Killen; sons, Robert Larry Johnson and wife, Ellaree, of Florence, George She was preceded in death by her parents, Chapel and Mattie Moore Warren; daughter, Barbara Greenhill; grandson, Larry Wayne Greenhill; brothers, Emit, Petty, Buell and Doyce Warren; stepmother, Luedie Warren; in-laws, George and Bertha Johnson; sons-in-law, Alfred Burns, Kenneth Hanback and Ralph Foster.Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home chapel, with LeRoy Tidwell and Rusty Pate officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.Pallbearers will be grandsons.Special thanks to caregivers Angie Burns and Carolyn Lovvorn.
