SAUNDERS Edwin James It is with great sadness that Sharon, Ian and Jeanne announce the passing of their father Ed. He was predeceased by his first wife Julia, brother Keith, and granddaughter Megan. He is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren, sisters Margaret and Barbara, brother Leonard and many nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Vancouver but called Richmond home for many years. It is there that he became an avid lawn bowler and developed a passion for coaching both new bowlers and the visually impaired. Ed retired from the B.C. Ferries Corp. where he worked for many years. He had a keen interest in boating and West Coast marine history. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Dad, Poppa, Grandpa Boats, may you finally rest in peace.
