LONG, Edna Florence (nee Chapman) - (Along with her late husband Harry, she founded in 1957 The Pines Motel and The Cave which they ran successfully for 19 years). Peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008. Edna Florence Long of Scarborough and formerly of R.R. #3 Trenton (Glen Miller) in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Joseph Long. Loving mother of Lynda Hurley and her husband Paul and Susan Long and her husband Peter Sims, all of Toronto. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kristin Shensel and Ryan Hurley. Dear sister of the late Roy Chapman and dear sister-in-law of Mary Veronica Luebke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111) on Sunday, May 18th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at St. Peter's Church, Trenton on Monday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. Father Brian McNally officiating.
