Avis de décès de Earl-W. Patterson


Dr. Earl W. Patterson, 57, St. Petersburg, and formerly of Sarasota, died Aug. 30, 2002, at the V.A. Medical Center at Bay Pines. He was born in St. Petersburg and received a doctorate in psychology from the University of Florida. He was a former associate professor of behavioral sciences at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He was an adjunct professor in the department of psychiatry and neurology and a former director of the alcohol and drug education program at Tulane University. He was a Marine veteran. He was a licensed Coast Guard captain and a member of Sarasota Sailing Squadron. Survivors include his son, Randall; daughters Kimberly of St. Petersburg, and Abigal and Robyn, both of Sarasota; brothers Alton of Pinellas Park, Jesse, Raymond, Fred and Julian, all of St. Petersburg; and sisters Edith Teeple of Kernersville, N.C., Linda Patterson-Ryan of Spotsylvania, Va., and Deborah of Westville, Ind. E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, St. Petersburg, is in charge.
