Avis de décès de Elwood-Leo Reno


RENO, ELWOOD LEO "ED", 87, passed away Monday, July 31, 2006. Mr. Reno was born in Pinnebog, MI on June 19, 1919. He spent five years in the United States Coast Guard during WWII and as a civilian he worked for the Coast Guard for an additional 33 years as the Superintendent for 10 different trades. Two of those years were spent at the Coast Guard base in Ketchikan, AK. He was a member of the Clermont-Groveland Elks, an Elk of the Year; Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in Saugus, MA, and charter member of the Knights of Columbus in Nahant, MA. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Catherine "Peg" of Clermont; his daughter, Gayle Calabrese, Boston, MA; sons, Robert and Larry (Alice) of Clermont, William (Mary) of Mount Dora; his sister, Irma Draves of Longwood; and 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4PM Friday, August 4, 2006 in the chapel of Becker Family Funeral Home with Rev. Juan Carlos Cardenas officiating. Mr. Reno will be intered in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests donations be made to Hospice Foundation of Lake and Sumter, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778-9972.
