DOROTHY I. (ORDEAN) KING FORMERLY OF VALPARAISO, IN Dorothy I. (Ordean) King, age 83, of Centerville, OH, formerly of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oakwood. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sam S. Ordean, Anne Budak, Mary Silion, John Ordean, Helen Ruffin, Dan Ordean, Nick Ordean and Virginia Ordean. Dorothy is survived by her previous husband, John W. King of Munster, IN; sons: Jack King of Dayton, OH and Will (Kim) King of Austin, TX; previous daughter-in-law, Susanne King; grandchildren: Brittany and Cecily King of Indianapolis, IN and Tanner and Kendall King of Austin, TX; relatives: June and Tommy Welsh,Shirley and Dick Welsh, Mary and Eddy Budney, Nick and Linda Budak, Bobby Budak, Linda Tankersley (Welsh), Ginger Brown (Ordean), Kathy Ordean,Gloria Ordean and Candy Ordean. A memorial service was held Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Chapel, Dayton, OH with the Rev. John Koepke III officiating. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Calumet Park Cemetery, 2305 W. 73rd Ave., Merrillville, IN. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Arrangements by Routsong Funeral Home.
