Dorothy Elizabeth Kelly Davisof Vista, CaliforniaDorothy Elizabeth Kelly Davis, age 63, died Saturday, January 17, 2004. She was born May 9, 1940 in Queens, N.Y., and lived in Afton, N.Y. Dorothy had been a resident of Vista, Calif., for the last 35 years. She had been a manager at Rancho La Costa Properties for over 20 years. Because of her great love for children, she became a day care provider for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Thomas Kelly; brother, Garry Kelly; and stepson, Ralph M. Davis III. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Davis; her children and their spouses, Beverly and Kenneth Anderson, Big Bear, Calif., Cheryl and Thom Bjerke, Lovelock, Calif., Howard (Skip) Becker, Vista, Calif., Thomas and Claudia Davis, Ramona, Calif.; brother, Thomas Kelly and wife, Melrose; sisters, Joan Zayac and Mildred Miyake and husband, Denny. The light of her life were her 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Afton, N.Y.
