AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Chiles Kirk of Craneferry Road died on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at the Doctors Hospital. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Velda Schirhart officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. She was a native of McCormick County, S.C. and a member of Whole Life Ministries. Survivors are her husband, Louis Kirk, Columbia, S.C.; two sons, William K. Kirk, Augusta, Kenneth L. Kirk, Metairie, La.; two sisters, Clara Crawford Tobert Griffin, Effie Chiles Spearman, both of Greenwood, S.C.; four brothers, Samuel Chiles, McCormick, S.C., Leroy Chiles, Pittsburgh, Pa., Edward Chiles, Augusta, Johnny Chiles, Philadelphia, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Angela G. Kirk, Metairie, La.; three grandchildren, Rebeekah Kirk, Jonathan Kirk, Benjamin Kirk, Metairie, La.; and a hoist of other relatives and friends.
