She was selected "Senior Citizen Volunteer of the Year" three times, volunteered at the Avon Park Middle School for many years, and also volunteered at the church service center in Avon Park, FL. Survivors include: daughters, Beverly Tonagel of Knoxville, TN, Sandra Buono of Highland,IN and Linda Huber of Portland, OR; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL.
