Avis de décès de Dorothy Allen

Dorothy Jean Kay Allen, 71, of 169 Garrett Road, wife of Paul Jefferson Allen Sr., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Claude Chesley and Minnie Lee Woodson Kay. She retired from Bi-Lo, where she was bookkeeper, and following her retirement she worked as secretary for J.C. Cox Builders. She was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church in Easley. In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by a daughter, Becky Gremmer; a son, Jeff Allen Jr., both of Pelzer; brothers, Wayne Kay and Joe Kay, both of Pelzer; sister, Sarah Clardy of Greenville; and grandchildren, Amber Gremmer and Troy Allen. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, with Dr. James Sloan officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
