HALADI, Doris Jean Marie (Reid, Berke, Campbell) Beloved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and friend passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008. Doris was born April 13, 1930 in Winnipeg and moved to Calgary in 1933 where she spent the majority of her life. She always considered herself a native Calgarian. Doris' trademark was her endless energy and her kindness. She loved her family and friends and always remembered their special moments. Her thoughtfulness will live in our memories forever. She enjoyed associations in the Corvette Club, Tecumseh, British Heritage Club and Christian Women's Association, to name a few. She was always willing to do her part and then some in any organization she belonged to. She often said that if she had known how wonderful grandchildren were, she would have had them first! Doris will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her. Survived by husband, Joe, children, Allan Berke, Terry Berke, Ross Berke and Elaine Tondevold (Barrie), grandchildren, Chelsea Hale (Dave), Briana DeWaal (Nick), Taylor, Erik, Danielle and Jenessa Tondevold, Erica Berke, Rhiannon and Conner Berke and great-grandson, Joshua Hale. Memorial Service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 1102 - 23 Avenue N.W., Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments following.
