WINDSOR -- Donna G. Allen, 61, of Melaney Road, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at her home.She was born in Bangor on July 14, 1951, the daughter of William and Barbara (Hayes) Gott.She grew up in Brewer before moving to Augusta, where she graduated from Cony High School in 1970.Donna worked as a printing supervisor for the state of Maine until her early retirement in 2002. She was a former member and past president of the American Legion Post 205 Auxiliary. She had a love of animals, especially her pot belly pig. She is survived by her sons, Eric Jason Allen and Shawn Louis Allen, both of Windsor; a sister, Tina Bickford, of Chelsea; and a brother, William Gott, of Hampden Beach, N.H.; a granddaughter, Alissa Allen, who was the light of her life; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.There will be no visiting hours and funeral services will be private.Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta, where memories, condolences and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the website at www.khrfuneralhomers.com.
