FORBES, Donald G. 80 years, Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Late of the Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens. Beloved husband of the late Leita Forbes (1997). Dear father of Greg and wife Laurie, Belle River; Judy Forbes, BC. Loving grandfather of Christopher and Melissa, Spencer, Jordan, Zachary, Alissa and great grandfather of Kayla and Madison. Dear brother of Robert Forbes and wife Diana, Windsor; Mary Egan, Lucan; Jean Cade, Toronto; John Forbes and wife IdaLou, Leamington and brother-in-law of Vivian Forbes, Nova Scotia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by his parents, Helen (1961) and Edward Forbes (1964), 3 brothers, Kenneth (1991), Murray (1991), Jim (1999), a sister Margaret Forbes (1998), 2 brothers-in-law, John Egan (2000), Peter (1985) and a sister-in-law, Fran Forbes (2000). Don was a veteran of WWII and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Massey Ferguson and Windsor Salt. A private family Funeral Service will be held at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington (326-2631 ) on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Rev. Del Stewart officiating.
