ObituaryDavid Wayne Allen, 56, of Sopchoppy, FL passed away August 3, 2005 in Tallahassee.Survivors include his wife Jean, his Mother Edna Reynolds, a brother Steve and wife Patty, nephews; Terry, Taylor and Adrian, a special niece Darlene Massey. David spent his childhood in LaBelle and Punta Gorda. After serving in Vietnam in the U.S. Marines he settled in Fort Myers where he was employed by the City of Fort Myers. David's love of the outdoors, his quick smile, and willingness to help others endeared him to his many cousins and friends. He felt at home at the Ochlockonee Bay Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ochlockonee Bay Methodist Church, P.O. Box 85, Sopchoppy, FL 32358 or to charity of your choice.There will be a graveside service August 20, 2005, 10:30 AM at Ft. Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
