David Leonard Ritchie 1941-2008 The passing of David Leonard Ritchie occurred at his residence in Lakeville, Maine on January 15th, 2008 at the age of 66. David was born in Moncton, son of the late Frederick Ritchie (Senior) and Hazel (Ayles) Ritchie. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Johanna Ritchie of Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his brother, Fred (Gayle) of Moncton; niece Elizabeth Dow and nephew, Sean Ritchie and three aunts, Joyce Mazerolle, Viola Steeves and Elva Ayles and several cousins. He was retired over 20 years from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. David enjoyed his gardening, fishing, hunting and A.T.V. driving and the caring of his pets. David requested that there be no funeral service and that he would be buried in a U.S. Military Cemetery near the Canadian border.
