VERSAILLES VERSAILLES David B. Thomas, 96, husband of Lois Sullivan Thomas, died Mon, June 30. He was a retired sales representative of dairy equipment, had owned the Versailles Sunshine Dairy, and retired in 1977 from International Paper Co. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late David Harrison and Nell Bovard Thomas. Dave was a graduate of Versailles High School and the University of Kentucky, and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Versailles United Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Ginny (Dale) Eckert, a son, Bo (Pat) Thomas, four grandchildren, Casey (Joshua) Kight, Kelly (Zach) Furr, Matt Thomas, and Chris Thomas, all of Versailles. The family wishes to acknowledge their appreciation to his caregivers, Carolyn F. Gallagher and Kimberly E. Cottingham. Visitation is 4-7pm, today at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home followed by a service at 7pm. with Rev. Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will be private at the Versailles Cemetery.
