RITCHIE _ David Alister April 20, 1926 - March 5, 2006 On March 5, 2006, David Alister Ritchie passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Janet, and Gail (Randy), their mother, Louise, and his grandchildren Chris, Josh, Katie, and Caroline. He is also survived by his sister Joan (Mike), and his brothers Ian (Irene), and Peter (Connie); his extended family, the Kyllos; Todd, who was especially important to him, Gregg, Marianne and Knud. David will be remembered by the many friends and acquaintances he made in his 35 years in the tourism industry, especially Duncan, his oldest and best friend. Dad is, "Fine as frogs' hair, thanks!" The funeral will be March 11, 2006 at 11 am from the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm. Flowers are gratefully declined, and if desired, a contribution to the Lung Association of BC would be much appreciated.
