LAFORTUNE, Daniel-Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Leisureworld Nursing Home on Friday February 28th, 2003 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of the late Edna Lafortune. Special friend to Pauline Drouin. Dear father of Therese (Phillippe Gareau) of Sudbury, Paul Lafortune (Tami), Lawrence (Anne) Lafortune, Louise Lafortune all of North Bay and Judy Lafortune of Edmonton, Alberta. Loving grandfather of Phillippe Jr., Carole, Chantal, Mathieu, Genevieve, Daniel, Renee. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his grandson Richard. Long time employee of the City of North Bay. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road on Sunday March 2nd, 2003 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. and on Monday March 3rd from 11:30 until 12:30. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday March 3rd at 1 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church.
